* Our Girl ©RUMBLES *

I'd like to introduce to my fellow bloggers, Crumbles. She got her nickname from her loving father because when you hold the little girl up she just falls into herself and crumbles up into a ball and she always holds her hands and arms and just loves resembling a ball of flesh. For those of you that have seen her, you all have witness that she resembles a 9lb burrito because of the forces we use to save her from herself and her extremely long hands and arms.

.
Our little girl is very very girly. Everything about her is feminine and she is very reactionary =) She is so easy going and just pleasant to have around but when she wants something there is no build up...just REACTION. She needs to have things just right or she ain't havin it. No clue where she gets that =)

.
She has started to focus on us and follows our eyes with hers. Roxy smiles and talks when you pay attention to her. One way she smiles is by opening her mouth really wide and she loves doing it. This little girl loves loves loves to cuddle and snuggle. Any kind of attention pleases her and she loves to pay attention to the things around her as well. She loves sitting up and looking around and just be apart of whatever is going on around her. She never misses a minute.
We love our little Baby Roxy so much and we feel so blessed to have her apart of our family. She already brings so much happiness and joy into our home and our hearts.

Our Baby Girl Is Here!!!!
The day finally came and little Roxanne Lynn Higgins was brought into this world. The week leading up to it was a crazy one! My doctor started becoming concern with her becoming too large for me so I was sent to get a few ultrasounds done to get the fetal weight. On Monday the 13th, I was told that she was 8lbs 3oz so my doctor set up for me to be induced on Wednesday the 15th. I was set and ready to go! I was way excited to have Tuesday to get totally prepared and know that Wednesday was THEE day. So Tuesday morning Lance got up for work early and kissed me goodbye and I then got up to go to the bathroom and bing bang boom, my water had broke. Long story short, I called Lance and he came back home and drove me to the hospital.

We got there and they did a test making sure that it was really my water that broke and then they wheeled me into the delivery room and we were getting set up for the big show! It all went VERY quickly. From getting to the delivery room to pushing it was about 5 hours. She was ready to come and I had NO problem with that. Everything was perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better labor. The only thing that made it hard was in between pushing...I was throwing up. Surprise Surprise!!! I threw up for the entire 9 months so why on earth was I surprise that this wouldn't end with me throwing up? I pushed on through and then...she was here.

Emotional. That is the best word to describe the next hour of meeting my daughter. I had never felt so many emotions at once. There was love, exhaustion, amazement, relief, worry, happiness, the list goes on and on. She was perfect. So precious and small and we were in love. She was born at 5:06pm and weighed 8 pounds 1 ounce and was 20 inches long, We named her Roxanne Lynn Higgins. We picked out Roxanne when we were 17 and 18. At the time, we were into the movie Moulin Rouge and they sing the song Roxanne and we both really liked the name and put it on our Kids Names List when we would dream of us getting married someday. Lynn came from my name (Brittany Lynn). My middle name came from nowhere so I thought I'd give it some meaning =) With that, we present our little Roxanne Lynn Higgins
